Extension Wall Clean In Godalming Surrey
Our client needed this wall cleaned as every time he peers out of his bedroom window he got annoyed! This extension wall is only 5 years old and has attracted lots of moss and the start of lichen within that time. It’s set in a particularly damp area with hardly any sunlight reaching it during the day, the perfect environment for this type of vegetation to thrive! We needed to be careful as the persistent dampness has caused the render under the bricks to perish, crack and degrade. Pressure washing wasn’t an option in this case. We manually wire brushed the moss away from the brickwork whilst being mindful of the delicate render. After which we applied our chemicals to brighten up the brickwork immediately and to sterilise the area so the moss / algae and lichen will stay away for as long as possible. Job done!
